Harold Nelson founded Nelson and Small in 1936; a few years later his cousin
Irving Small joined him. Now a nationally recognized wholesale distributor operating throughout New England
and eastern New York, the company is run by their sons, Ken Nelson and David Small. Headquarters and the
warehouse facility are in Portland, Maine while two branch sales offices and showrooms are located in
Manchester, New Hampshire and Burlington, Vermont.

Residential sales are made through a network of dealers selected and trained by Nelson & Small.

- We have 40-plus years of experience in the laundry appliances and facilities business including
commercial laundries, automated hand-washing and ozone-generating cleaning equipment. Says one new
